We went with Aunt Cathy, Uncle Brett, Cousin Owen and Cousin Gavin to a Christmas play. Owen and Ben got to go up on stage to dance with Santa!

We received about 5 inches of snow...perfect time for sledding!! I think Ben enjoyed trying to make it up the hill more than going down!

Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Uncle David (he flew in from Switzerland!!) came for an early Christmas. Unfortunately, they had to leave early to beat a big snow storm coming our way...but we enjoyed a visit with many fly-fishing-equipment-purchasing-excursions, Denver Zoo lights and celebrated Uncle David's 30th birthday!

Grandma on the farm gave Ben an early Christmas present - new Thomas and Harold pajamas. He looks like such a big boy!

Winter has arrived

Grandma and Grandpa from the farm came out for a short visit. We enjoyed baking cookies, going bowling and playing mini golf.

One of Ben's favorite activities (besides trains, of course) was playing hide-and-seek - he liked to have Grandpa hide him in the pillows but always kept one hand out so someone could find him.

Ben got to ride on a train at the Colorado Railroad Museum! He also got to meet Mrs Claus and Santa. He had me make a list of everything he wanted - Neville, Rosie, Cranky, Peter Sam (all Thomas trains) and Thomas clothes - and gave it to Santa.

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Kansas with family. Ben had a blast with everyone!





And, Ben got to meet his cousins, Liam and Rylan!

My Great Grandma

My Great Grandma is 80 years older than me! She gives me presents. And I love giving her kisses, racing her with my scooter and playing dominos with her.

Ben is THREE! by Melissa

Ben celebrated his third birthday at his school with a Thomas ice cream cake. He loved everyone singing Happy Birthday to him. His best friends are Hank, in the blue shirt sitting to the left of Ben, Sam in the grey shirt in the background, and Anthony, in the green shirt with black hair.

We made cupcakes and got messy!

He got lots of cool presents, a Thomas light from cousins Alex and Andy, a GeoTrax set from Owen and Gavin, clothes and a laptop computer from Grandma and Grandpa on the farm, chocolate from Uncle Dave and a scooter from his other Grandma and Grandpa.

Brad also celebrated his 33rd birthday! We had a great day!
