Fall Baking

With the cooler weather, we decided it was time to bake apple, pumpkin and banana breads and muffins. We gave a few to neighbors, Ben is taking some to class for snacktime and we are keeping the rest for ourselves!

Trip to IOWA

Recently, we took a trip to Iowa! Here are a few higlights:

Picked apples and made an apple pie

Rode all sorts of tractors and farm equipment...big and small



Visited the beautiful falls in Sioux Falls

Went to an ISU dedication for the new BioCentury Farm - Brad's Dad is the director


Visited with lots of family - and celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and each other

Ben has to bring a snack to preschool twice a month...and I LOVE planning what to bring. This week we brought a food of each color from 'The Mixed Up Chameleon'!!
